Terms (hosts)

Scope

These terms apply to the use of GuideUs by hosts: people and businesses who use GuideUs to create and publish guides for holiday rentals (hosting). The provider is Umut Serifler, GuideUs (see the imprint).

Readers of guides enter into no contract with us and never pay.

Office plans are governed by the Terms (office, B2B).

Conclusion of the contract

Registering an account concludes a contract for free use. You order a paid plan or a credit pack in the studio; the contract is concluded when you complete the order with the payment button.

You are responsible for the content of your guides, in particular for holding the rights to photos and text, and for publishing other people's personal data only where you may.

Free plan

The free plan covers one property in two languages and shows the "Made with GuideUs" mark. It is free and fully usable for the first 12 months after you first publish.

After those 12 months a grace period of 14 days follows. After that, guests see a shortened version of the guide (the first item of each section in full, the rest as a preview, photos replaced) until you choose a paid plan. Nothing is charged automatically and nothing is deleted.

Plans and prices

The plans and prices shown at guideus.dev/pricing when you order apply. Currently these are Host (€9.99 a month or €99 a year, up to 3 properties, every language) and Host Plus (€19.99 a month or €199 a year, up to 10 properties). Whether and how VAT is shown is [zu bestätigen].

The price is due in advance by card at the start of each billing period. The subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel it before.

AI allowance and credits

Every plan includes a monthly allowance of AI actions (drafts and translations). AI runs only when you start it. Manual edits are always free and unlimited.

You can also buy credit packs as a one-off purchase (currently €5 for 500 AI actions [zu bestätigen]). Credits are used only once the monthly allowance is spent, and they do not expire with the month; unused monthly allowance does not carry over. When both are used up, AI actions on paid plans keep running at a slower pace; on the free plan they are refused. To protect against errors and abuse, AI actions not paid for with credits stop at three times the monthly allowance until the next month.

Cancellation

You can cancel a paid plan at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. The cancellation button under § 312k BGB is at guideus.dev/app/billing/cancel. You receive a confirmation by email.

When the subscription ends, the free plan applies again; your content is not deleted.

Liability

We are liable in accordance with the statutory provisions. A limitation of liability for slight negligence is [zu bestätigen].

AI drafts and automatic translations are machine-made. Please check them before you approve them.

Final provisions

German law applies. If the customer is a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country of their habitual residence remain unaffected.

The German version of these terms is binding; translations are for information only.

If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
